Registration
All players must register prior to playing: https://www.wasphockey.asn.au/registration . The mandatory Hockey Australia levy (which is outside of the control of WASP HC) is required to be paid upon registering.
2024 Fees
Payment of 2024 fees
- 2024 fees are required to be paid in full by 1 June 2024, unless a payment plan is agreed in advance (via email to wasphc.finance@gmail.com ).
- Fee invoices will be sent via email (as used for registration).
Senior turf gate fees are now included in total fees
- For 2024, gate fees for the relevant senior sides/players are being invoiced on the single 'club fees' invoice.
- As explained below, the inclusion of gate fees on the single fee invoice this year means that invoiced '2024 fees' will appear substanitally higher than last year for the relevant senior turf players, which reflects the consolidation of the relevant fees into one invoice for 2024.

- 25% of full fees for quarter season (max 4 games played); and
- 50% of full fees for half season (max 9 games played). |

* Senior Gate Fees
- Gate Fees are the 'game day' charges imposed by the various turf facilities for each match. Whilst these fees are the responsibility of each team, they have been invoiced to and paid by the Club on a weekly basis over the past two seasons, with the Club then invoicing senior turf players for their gate fees at the end of the season.
- For 2024, the Club will still make the payments to the turf venues but the gate fees will be included in each relevant senior players' total fees (rather than invoiced separately at the end of each season) such that just once invoice will be issued to each player for all fees in 2024.

Fee increases
- For 2024, fees have been increased to a level that allows the Club to operate on a sustainable financial basis (such that its costs are covered), noting that there have been no fee increases since 2021.
Concessions and volunteer discounts
- Consistent with prior seasons, the Club offers fee concessions and discounts to Club fees (no discounts are applied to gate fees) for the following:
- Student Concession (incl. apprentices): 25% discount
- Goalkeepers: 70% discount
- Coach: 100% discount (50% discount where coaching in a pair)
- Committee Member: 50% discount
- Juniors playing seniors pay i) the relevant junior fees and ii) 30% of the relevant senior fees
- Seniors playing weekends and midweek pay i) full weekend fees and ii) 35% of the relevant midweek fees
Hockey Australia levy
- The Club-invoiced fees do not include the mandatory Hockey Australia levy (which is outside of the control of WASP HC), which is required to be paid upon registering.
Casual and occassional players
- All players must register and pay the mandatory Hockey Australia levy, including casual and occassional players.
- In addition, the following Club fees apply for those playing part of the season:
- 25% of full fees for quarter season (max 4 games)
- 50% of full fees for half season (max 9 games).
Outstanding fees from prior years
- There remains a large number of outstanding fees from prior years which the Club has recently communicated (sent invoices) to those that are 'unfinancial'.
- Prior years' fees are required to be paid in full in order for players to be eligible to play in 2024.
