Fee Structure 2026
As we approach the 2026 season, here’s what you need to know about registration and fees:
Registration Fee
When you register, there will be a mandatory registration fee of approximately$57.90 per junior player (8-18 years old) and $22.81 pre juniors (under 8). This fee is set by Hockey Australia and covers a small level of player insurance for the calendar year. Please note, we have no control over this fee—it is compulsory for all players.
WASP Club Fees
We are 100% volunteer run and to create volunteer roles that are sustainable we require an efficient and automated fee payment process. In 2026 for junior players - there is the option to pay fees upfront or to go onto a payment plan. More Info HERE
Fee Structure for 2026
When deciding on the club fees for 2026 minimal changes were made. The committee reviewed the competitive landscape of other clubs and considered the increased costs of turf hire and play in the metropolitan region. Our goal is to keep fees as affordable as possible while ensuring the club remains operational (more info can be found on the fee page).
Not-For-Profit Status
As a not-for-profit club, we are committed to keeping fees low for everyone. A payment plan can be entered into upon registering. For all other issues, please email wasphc.finance@gmail.com.
Discounts and Recognition
We are also excited to offer discounts, rewards, and recognition opportunities for junior state team representatives, goalkeepers and coaches. Please speak to JVP, Jodie if you would like to understand these discounts in more detail: wasphc.jvp@gmail.com
KidSport
Our club is registered with the government initiative KidSport which can provide financial assistance towards community sporting fees - Check to see if you are eligible HERE
