Well done to WASPs' juniors!!

Friday (17 Sept.):

On Friday evening the 11/12 ARes girls won their game 2-1, with strong play throughout, and minutes later the 11/12 A boys held on to win 1-0 with a massive football-style crowd behind them - including a post-match pitch invasion.

The 11/12 A girls led 1-0 against the top team YM for most of their game until YM evened the score with 38 seconds remaining and then took the win in a penalty shoot out. A devastating way to lose for our girls, but everyone was super proud of the way they played.

Saturday (18 Sept.):

In Saturday’s Grand Finals our 9/10 AR girls flipped the 11/12 A girls result with a thrilling win in the shoot out after fighting their way back from being 2-0 down at halftime, and our 7/8C boys made it a double in winning their match with a great golden goal off a short corner in extra time.

4 wins from 5!! What a great performance our junior WASPies put on, and a record number of finalists in 2021 - congrats to all on a great year!
