2026 Fees

All players must be registered prior to playing – which includes paying the mandatory Hockey Australia levy and Club fees (either in part or whole – see below).

2026 Fees

Upfront payments 

• The HA levy must be paid upon registering. HA has set the 2026 levies – which are outside of the control of WASPs and go direct to HA – at $70.22 for seniors (19+), $57.87 for juniors (18 and under) and $22.81 for pre-juniors (8 and under). It covers participation in all forms of the sport for the 2026 calendar year, including club hockey, indoor and state/national championships.
• For 2026, either part or full payment of Club fees will also be required upon registration. The Committee has implemented this change to reduce the significant amount of time and manual effort that its volunteers are required to spend throughout the year issuing invoices and chasing outstanding fees. All members have the option of entering into a payment plan (of four instalments, with the first payment required upfront).

Club fees

• Club fees (which include gate fees for those playing turf) are largely unchanged for 2026 – i.e. there is no increase from 2025 for the majority of categories, with only minor increases/changes to a couple of fee categories to ensure that the Club continues to cover some of its costs and operates on a sustainable financial basis.
• However, payment transaction costs are now reflected in the displayed fees rather than being added at the checkout stage. As such, all fees will appear to have increased as a result of the changes – which have been implemented by revolutioniseSPORT (the website/payment platform we are required to use) in anticipation of legislative changes.
• Players eligible for discounts (see below) will be required to i) enter a payment plan; ii) make the initial upfront payment instalment based on full fees; and iii) contact the relevant Vice President to verify that they are eligible for the relevant discount – after which any ‘remaining fees due’ will be adjusted accordingly (or a refund processed). Please note that discounts are only provided on the ‘base’ component of player fees (i.e. total Club fees excluding gate fees), with all turf players required to pay gate fees.

Second playing grade supplement

• Juniors playing seniors (4+ games) are required to pay i) the relevant junior fees and ii) the 'juniors playing seniors' fee supplement.
• Seniors playing both weekends and midweek are required to pay i) the full relevant weekend fees and ii) the midweek fee supplement.

Discounts

• Discounts are available for the below eligible members. Please contact your relevant VP to confirm eligibility and to have the reduction applied.
